Job Description:

We are seeking professional, reliable, and safety-conscious Coach Drivers to join a well-established and growing transport company based in Stanton Harcourt. In this role, you’ll play a vital part in delivering exceptional transport services across Oxfordshire and beyond, ensuring passengers enjoy a comfortable, safe, and punctual journey every time.

As a Coach Driver, you’ll be responsible for operating a modern and well-maintained fleet of vehicles, working on a variety of assignments, from school transport and corporate travel to private hires and event logistics. Your responsibilities as a Coach Driver include:

  • Safely operate coaches and minibuses for a variety of transport needs, including school runs, corporate travel, private hires, and event transport.
  • Provide excellent customer service to passengers, ensuring a professional and friendly experience.
  • Follow scheduled routes and maintain punctuality at all times.
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
  • Adhere to all relevant transport laws and company policies.

The requirements as a Coach Driver include:

  • Valid PCV (Passenger Carrying Vehicle, otherwise known as a Category D) license and CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence).
  • Ability to pass an enhanced DBS check.
  • Strong awareness of road safety and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Flexible and reliable with a professional approach to work.

Shift Times:

There are both full time and part time hours available for this position.

The part time position includes Monday - Friday work with shifts being 2.5 hours in the morning and 2.5 hours in the afternoon.

Shift times for the full time position may range from early starts to late evening finishes, depending on your routes and duties for the day.

PAY RATES:

£16.50 per hour, regardless of working full time or part time.

Start Dates / Induction Process:

Upon application, if you are deemed suitable for this position, you will be required to attend an interview with the client, during which you will demonstrate your level of driving skills.

After this, you will be put on a 1 Week paid training course whilst your enhanced DBS check is returned. (This may take longer than 1 week to arrive).

Once returned, you will then be put onto your chosen shift pattern (either Full Time or Part Time).
